It's my MIL's birthday and again I am looking for a local restaurant that serves her favorite Italian dish. While searching I noticed the reviews were pretty good for this place. Don't be fooled! We came last year and it was truly awful. I never say that, but it was. If it hadn't have been a special birthday dinner I would have sent my plate back and left but I took one for the team and toughed it out. For a restaurant that touts making everything from scratch I was horrified that my chicken was clearly microwaved. The texture was so disgusting that I was truly grateful for the small portion. The also very small portion of spaghetti with sauce on the side was not even as good as I make at home and I am not a great cook. My husband had a cheese ziti dish that was edible, but better suited to a school lunch than a fine dining restaurant. The seats, tablecloths and napkins were all grubby. The waitress was inappropriately chatty and over-shared personal details and politics. The prices were outrageous for the food received. Service was also slow despite there being only one other table in the restaurant on a week night so no excuses there. I honestly could not wait to get out of this restaurant and will never go back.

The food is always fresh just like the seafood very hot. The chef is using all the fresh ingredients nothing freeze dried nothing pre-packaged. All the food is being made from scratch and with love. The garlic bread and minestrone soup are to die for. Always a very good selection of white and red wines. On some nights he has a new lady that serves the food she's nice but a little on the slow side. But the other lady that is there most of the time and she is a very very hot Filipino lady and she is already my girlfriend. She always greets me with a big kiss and a huge hug. And her fashion style is always work sexy. I always like to be served by her whenever she is working.
